Trafilix SpA has taken over KSM SAMA DE GmbH from Sama Inox Group. Established in 1979, KSM is located in Empfingen, south of Stuttgart in the southern German region of Baden-Württemberg.

MacDougall was instrumental in the founding of Continental Nickel in 2006; he completed the initial public offering and listing in 2007, and led the Company from that time.
