GE announced the official opening of a new oil and gas facility in Broome, Western Australia, specifically designed to service subsea projects.

Golar LNG and Rosneft Oil Company have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that foresees co-operation between the companies in the area of floating liquefaction (FLNG) and transportation of natural gas.

The NanoSteel® Company, a specialist in nano-structured steel materials design, announced the expansion of the company’s additive manufacturing (AM) material capabilities to support metal 3D printing of complex high hardness parts and the ability to customise properties layer-by-layer through gradient material design. AkzoNobel’s Specialty Chemicals business broke ground on a new alkoxylation facility in Ningbo, China, bringing the company’s total investment in the strategic multi-site to more than EUR 400M.
