NanoSteel expands material capabilities for AM

Esmark reaffirms interest in Železara Smederevo

Esmark Chairman and CEO James P. Bouchard announced that despite the recent efforts to reach a definitive agreement with the Republic of Serbia for the restructuring and revitalisation of the Železara Smederevo Steel Works, Esmark continues to believe its comprehensive business plan and management team provide the best possible future for the mill. AkzoNobel breaks ground for new plant in China

AkzoNobel’s Specialty Chemicals business broke ground on a new alkoxylation facility in Ningbo, China, bringing the company’s total investment in the strategic multi-site to more than EUR 400M. The Ningbo multi-site covers around 50 hectares and accommodates production for chelates, ethylene amines, ethylene oxide, organic peroxides and Bermocoll cellulose derivatives.

Statoil awards Mariner contracts to Asco

Statoil (UK) has awarded the contracts for supply base and warehousing services for the Mariner field to Asco UK on behalf of the Mariner co-venturers. Asco is an international oilfield support services company, headquartered in Aberdeen.
