E-Components and Chains of Pocklington (UK) has announced the launch of their Detectamet metal detectable plastic cardboard cutter. The cutter is manufactured in glass filled nylon with a ’â?detectableâ? additive. All metal components incorporated in the âDetectametâ? cardboard cutter are manufactured in stainless steel. The cutter has a metal detectable plastics body, stainless steel blades and components, replaceable and reversible blades and a security key for controlled blade change. Some of the applications include: cardboard, vacuum packs, plastics bags, shrink/stretch wrap and tape.
