EnCana has awarded Aker Solutions a contract for the transport and installation of wellhead protection structures on the Deep Panuke development, offshore Nova Scotia. The contract will be undertaken by Aker Solutions subsidiary Aker Marine Contractors AS. The scope of work comprises engineering, planning, and offshore operations. The work will begin immediately. The offshore operations will be performed by one of the company’s fleet of specialized offshore construction vessels in the 2Q or 3Q 2009.
