Canada: crude-oil terminal

Enbridge Inc. has announced that it will build a USD 250 million crude-oil terminal at Hardisty, Alberta. The terminal will have an initial capacity of 5 million barrels and will be close to, but separate from, Enbridge’s regulated mainline system terminal at Hardisty and the company’s 50%-owned Hardisty Caverns partnership. The Hardisty project includes the construction of 16 new tanks, with all the necessary associated piping, manifolds and booster pumps for crude-oil transfers. The tanks will range in size from 250,000 to 530,000 barrels.
