Cadagua wins Innovate awards again

Cadagua, a pioneer and leading company in the field of water and sewage treatment and seawater desalination in Spain, has more than 40 years of experience. The INNOVATE Awards 2015 gala was held on 17th December, acknowledging the best actions and awarding the prizes. This new edition of the awards received 161 innovative practices, with Cadagua receiving the prize for the ferroaqua project developed between different departments (Engineering, Contracting, Production and Quality, The Environment and R&D&I).

The aim of the ferroaqua platform is to centralise the information from the different wastewater treatment plants; to group data coming from different sources. The innovation provided by ferroaqua basically lies in the consolidation of data (both manual and automatic signals) in a single system and in the development of a made-to-measure software application to enter manual data into a commercial system not designed for this and non-existent in the market.

The ferroaqua platform is currently working in three wastewater treatment plants: The Valdelentisco Desalination Plant, the San Pedro del Pinatar WWTP and the San Javier WWTP, the first being owned by acuaMed and the other two by ESAMUR.
