BUTTING took a stand and showed their face during the SMM and Aquatech exhibits. SMM, an international trade fair for the shipbuilding industry, attracted over 50,000 specialist visitors to the new trade fair halls in Hamburg, Germany, between 23 – 26 September 2008. The exhibitors count reached 1965 exhibitors from 56 nations, presenting themselves and their newest developments to the local decision-makers at the sector’s most important meeting point. BUTTING has already been present as an exhibitor at the SMM on several occasions. The 22nd annual Aquatech took place from 30 September to 3 October 2008 in the Dutch city of Amsterdam. The specialist trade fair for the water and wastewater branch set a new record with more than 19,000 visitors from over 133 countries. BUTTING was among the 850 exhibiting companies for the first time.
