BUTTING has made a change at management level in the quality assurance area at the start of the year. The previous head of quality assurance, Mr Peter Jüttner, is to retire soon and has handed over management of the department to Mr Reinhold Hoffmann with effect from 01.01.2006. The trained materials inspector and qualified engineer can already look back on over 20 years at BUTTING. Since he joined the company in 1985, he has been supporting quality assurance, previously as the head of the materials testing laboratory. Mr Reinhold Hoffmann is a proven expert with years of experience in materials and processing technology matters. Articles written by him have been published in the trade press several times, and his speeches at conferences are also highly valued.
