Buckhorn Energy Services appointed Kash Kelloff as the vice president of Operations effective 9 March 2015. He will lead Buckhorn’s field operations and facilities providing solid waste disposal, saltwater disposal, and produced water-gathering systems.

Kelloff brings nearly 20 years of experience in operations management with the majority of that experience in the mining and minerals processing industry. He was most recently successful in establishing an operating culture focused on safe production, rigorous cost controls and operational excellence for a gold mine in West Africa. Under Kelloff’s leadership the mine realized cost reductions of more than USD 100M from 2013 to 2014, contributing to an overall cost of production decrease of more than USD 500 per ounce of gold. Prior to that assignment, Kelloff served as executive vice president of Business Operations for a consulting firm specialising in the development of mine and mineral processing technical training programmes.
