Brazil extends AD measure on SS welded pipes

According to the report, Brazil decided to extend the anti-dumping (AD) measures on stainless steel welded pipe imports from Malaysia, Thailand & Vietnam for another five years, effective from June 13th, 2024.

The Local Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Industry of Brazil indicated that there is enough proof that the imported 304 and 316 stainless steel pipes caused injury to the domestic producers. The sizes for the pipes are outside diameter from 6-2,032mm and thickness from 0.4~12.70mm. The HS codes for the products involved are 7306.40.00 and 7306.90.20.

The dumping margin for the products originating from Malaysia is USD 233.99-740.02 per ton, and dumping margins for products from Thailand and Vietnam are USD 747.56 per ton and USD 451.77-888.27 per ton, respectively.
