Boiler claims high operating efficiency

Following the application of pulse combustion technology to heating boilers in 1991, Fulton has produced its Pulse Plus range of high-efficiency condensing boilers. Fulton’s Pulse Plus boiler can claim many unique features, for instance a stainless steel (316L) combustion chamber and heat exchanger, integral pulse combustor, 3:1 modulation, compact design with small footprint and a 100mm-diameter flue exhaust outlet. The Pulse Plus operates between 86 and 98% efficiency, depending on the return water temperature. The 98% level is achieved with a return water temperature of 30C, thus making the Pulse Plus boiler particularly suitable for those applications where there is either a large temperature difference between flow and return or low surface temperatures are required, e.g. low-temperature panels or under-floor heating.
