Bodycote Testing Group has been relaunched as Exova, complete with identity and website. The creation of a new name and identity which reflects the company’s new direction, vision and values, has been prompted by the sale of the business by Bodycote plc last year. Bodycote Testing Group, which provides testing and advisory services to the aerospace, energy, oil and gas, civil engineering, transportation, pharmaceutical, food and consumer products industries and has over 130 facilities in 25 countries, was acquired by the global private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier and Rice (CD&R), in October 2008. The new name Exova and its accompanying contemporary graphics convey the company’s vision of being ‘the number one supplier of choice of testing and advisory services’. The new identity will be implemented through a phased roll out planned to all sites worldwide over the next few months, with the change over being complete by October 2009.
