The head of drug and chemical giant Bayer AG’s pharmaceutical business has been replaced by the head of its US drugs division. Bayer gave no details of the circumstances surrounding David Ebsworth’s departure. Ebsworth will stay on for now to help his successor, Wolfgang Plischke, with the transition, said company spokesman Gunter Forneck.
