Baumer’s new safety pressure gauge

Baumer’s safety pressure gauge MEP5 is specifically designed for use in corrosive atmospheres and fluids. The gauge has a diameter of 100mm and can measure pressures from -1…0 to 0…1600 bar at gauge working temperatures of -20…70C. The MEP5 offers stainless-steel housing, fully welded process connection and sensing element. It complies with protection class IP67 and a baffle wall and a blow-out back prevent the user from injury in case of failure of the sensing element. A special compensating diaphragm maintains the accuracy of the MEP5 by equalizing internal and external atmospheric pressures. Thanks to its robust design, the MEP5 is suitable for applications in heavy vehicles, energy production, the chemical industry and oil and gas plants.
