United States Steel Corporation President and Chief Executive Officer David B. Burritt announced the advancement of VP and chief HR officer Barry Melnkovic to senior VP and Chief Human Resources Officer. The advancement was effective March 1, and Melnkovic will continue to report to Burritt.
Melnkovic is also working to enhance the relationship between the company and the labor unions representing a significant portion of its employee population.
