Ball valve for purity applications

Dwyer Instruments, Inc, has announced the release of its new Series BV3HL-3A hand lever ball valve. The Series BV3HL-3A is suitable for the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries. Units are designed to meet 3A standards and feature 15RA grit internal polish and polished clamp end connections; the valve incorporates PTFE cavity filler to reduce the threat of product entrapment. The Series BV3HL-3A ball valve is constructed of 316 SS and Teflon®, making it suitable for corrosive and high purity applications. Integral ISO 5211 mounting pad makes field automation with electric or pneumatic actuators easy. Three-piece design allows the central portion to swing out for maintenance, while leaving the ends clamped into the line. Pressure ratings are to 1000 psig and temperature ratings are –40 to 450°F for wide application usage. The Series BV3HL-3A is available from 1/2â€? to 4â€? sizes.
