AvestaPolarit Distribution has announced a EUR 14 million investment for the purchase of new equipment, including both a cut-to-length and slitting line for its UK service centre. It will also relocate the current Oldbury facilities to fully refurbished and modernised buildings on AvestaPolarit’s main UK site in Sheffield. It is anticipated that the new equipment will be installed and commissioned by early 2004 and that full capacity would be achieved by the middle of 2004.
