Santos has awarded Foster Wheeler and Bechtel pre-FEED contracts for the estimated USD 6 billion Gladstone LNG project in Queensland, Australia. The contracts enable Santos to maintain the project’s scheduled timeline, which entails a decision to move to full FEED by the end of 2008 or Q1-2009, a FID for Gladstone LNG by the end of 2009, and first LNG cargoes from the project going to market by Q1-2014.
