AsiaTAC Meeting

MTI has announced that its 2009 AsiaTAC Meeting (formerly named SinoTAC) will be held at the Renaissance Zhongshan Park Hotel in Shanghai on 23–25 September of this year. The event will include a full-day stainless steel training seminar. This year’s meeting agenda includes four panel discussions covering equipment fabrication and inspection, nickel-based alloys, corrosion under insulation, and gasket vendor qualification. In addition to the panel discussions and seminar, AsiaTAC will feature an interactive forum, where technical questions are presented and often answered by experts in the audience. Organizers are also planning to provide updates on the glass-lined equipment, Chinese Material Standard (GB Standards), and fastener projects that were launched at the 2007 and 2008 meetings. As was the case at past SinoTACs, AsiaTAC will offer many networking opportunities for attendees at breakfasts, lunches, and a dinner reception. MTI does not charge a fee to participate in this conference; however, space is limited for this exclusive event and will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
