The new Asepco Radial-Diaphragm valves from Biopharma process systems (UK) are designed for pharmaceutical processing applications where leakage, âdead legsâ? or cross contamination are unacceptable. The valves are assembled with a sanitary clamp, forming a seal that requires no tools. Any Asepco valve can be ported to allow it to be CIP/SIP or flushed while closed, providing access through the valve body to the downstream lines. The ability to quickly flush or CIP/SIP while the valve is closed allows for down stream sterility prior to product introduction as well as speeding product changeover. The valves are also self-draining by design. Asepco valve bodies are machined from a single 316L stainless steel bar stock.
