Aseptic diaphragm valves

GEMÜ BioStarâ (Germany) introduces its new Aseptic diaphragm valves. The manual valve is made from stainless steel and has a handwheel in steam resistant plastic which limits the heat flow and reduces the danger of hand injuries. The ergonomic design of the handwheel ensures full function even under unfavourable application conditions. The valve position can be clearly seen due to the optical position indicator integrated as standard. The aeration and deaeration opening necessary for all single acting pneumatic actuators is arranged so that no liquid can get into the actuator from outside. All the internal movable parts are sealed by dynamic seals, all running surfaces are coated and the bearing of the valve spindle is a self-lubricating IGUS bush in a PTFE compound. The bonnet is made from deep-drawn stainless steel, the actuator is light in weight and possesses compact outside dimensions. Straight through valve bodies are available in forged and investment cast designs and pipe connections are available in all customary dimensions, types and standards.
