At the moment ArcelorMittal Temirtau is searching for additional iron ore resources for its future steel mill in Temirtau in the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan. Accordingly, ArcelorMittal Temirtau has started talks with Kazakh national mining company Tau Ken Samruk in its search for additional profitable iron ore deposits; however, due to the non-disclosure agreement between the companies, information about which particular iron ore deposits the steelmaker is considering has not been disclosed.
