ArcelorMittal makes changes to its board of direct

Francois Pinault will step down from his position as a member of the board of directors as approved at ArcelorMittal’s Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders. In June 2006, Pinault joined the board of Mittal Steel Company has been an independent director of ArcelorMittal since the company’s inception in November 2007. Shareholders also approved the appointment of Suzanne Nimocks to the Board of Directors. A former director and senior partner with global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company from June 1999 to March 2010, Nimocks was with the firm in various other capacities since 1989. She worked as a leader in the firm’s Global Petroleum Practice, Electric Power & Natural Gas Practice, Organization Practice, and Risk Management Practice. She also chaired the Environmental Committee of the Greater Houston Partnership until 31 December 2010. Nimocks holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Tufts University and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
