Arcelor sells its stake in Bamesa

In the light of its disposal commitments given to the European Commission following its creation, Arcelor has sold its 49% stake in the Spanish service centres group Bamesa Aceros, previously held by Usinor. A 14% share has been sold to the Spanish holding Armasfi, which already held 51% of Bamesa Aceros, and 35% to the Turkish group Borusan. Furthermore, Arcelor has acquired 40% of the Turkish Bamesa Aceros subsidiary, Bamesa Çelik.
