The construction contract for Saudi Aramco’s Iso-Pentane recovery plant at Yanbu Gas Plant in the north of Saudi Arabia is expected to be tendered in November 2003. Procurement of long-lead items by Saudi Aramco is ongoing. These will be given as free issue to the contractor. This includes pumps, heat exchangers, arial coolers, control systems and pressure vessels. The detailed engineering proposal was approved in March 2003 and is scheduled to begin on 15 April 2003. Detailed engineering is due for completion by early 2004. (From Data Medium Systems).
