An electric cabinet oven from Grieve: No. 795

No. 795 is an electrically-heated cabinet oven from Grieve, designed for use in a Class 100 cleanroom. It is currently being utilized for drying water from stainless steel and quartz parts. The unit has a maximum operating temperature of 500°F and workspace dimensions of 48″ W × 27″ D × 66″ H.

(1). A 30 KW total heat input is installed in Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements. A 1,500 CFM, 2 HP recirculating blower provides vertical downward airflow to the workload. (2) This Grieve cleanroom oven features a stainless steel exterior with #4 brushed finish, as well as a Type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior with 1/2″ inside radius corners, seams welded, ground and polished. (3) A thick HEPA fresh air filter with 2″ prefilter and a thick stainless steel, high-temperature HEPA recirculating filter are provided, with a minihelic pressure gauge and DOP validation port across each filter. (4) Safety equipment includes a digital indicating temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller, and SCR power controller. (5) No. 795 construction features 4″ insulated walls, independent double doors and twenty pairs of shelf supports with ten removable shelves included.
