AmEuro on the move

AmEuro Metals, the Netherlands-based supplier of specialty metals and alloys, is moving to larger facilities. The new building, still located in Leerdam, will allow AmEuro Metals to keep up with the increasing demand for its services and products. One advantage of the new facilities is the possibility of keeping physical inventory for long-term projects or contracts. Purchases and logistics from the USA play a vital role in AmEuro’s day-to-day business. To gain better control over the buying end of the business, AmEuro Metals USA Inc. was established in January 2001. The inconveniences of global time differences are reduced, and AmEuro Metals is now available to customers and suppliers almost 24 hours a day. In the near future customers in the Asian markets will also be serviced through the US office. In the year 2000 AmEuro metals increased its sales turnover by 30%.
