AMETEK Specialty Metal Products (SMP) has appointed Jake Bear to the role of Product Manager for its Strip Business unit. Jake will oversee the development of new products and markets.
The range of products includes precision metal strip, ultra-thin foil, shaped wire, shaped components, and thermal management products. He will also support existing customers for the metal strip part of AMETEK SMP’s operations. Jake is based at Hamilton Precision Metals in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Before joining AMETEK SMP, Jake progressed in his previous company over five years from Application Engineer to Product Line Manager. His responsibilities included creating and executing strategic growth projects for key accounts within North America.
