Alstom wins orders for three power plants

Alstom has won orders for three new combined-cycle power plants at Perlis in Malaysia, at Al Hidd in Bahrain, and at Kwinana in Australia. The projects involve a total of seven GT13E2 gas turbines and have a combined value of approximately EUR 820 million. The orders are for the turnkey supply of Alstom’s KA13E2 combined-cycle power plants. The GT13E2 gas turbine has low environmental emissions and utilises the unique EV (EnVironmental) burner system. The GT13E2 fleet of over 60 operating units has achieved more than 1,000,000 fired hours.
