Almesa: the Spanish distribution group of pipes

Almesa, a company specialized in the commercial distribution of steel pipes and metallurgical accessories, has effectively announced the merger by absorption of all its subsidiaries, Grupo Apro, Almesa, and Tubonor, giving rise to the Spanish distribution group (Almesa) of carbon and stainless steel pipes and accessories for fluid handling, with estimated annual sales of more than 40M euros.
Under a single company, which obeys the strategic plan approved by the Board of Directors focused on optimizing all the resources available to Almesa Group, the objective is to provide the entity with the most efficient resources to be a leader in distribution in Spain and to be among the top ten players at international level.
On the other hand, Almesa has bet in the last years on its international expansion. Its international projects already account for 20% of its business at present and it hopes that this figure will reach 30% by the end of the year.
Almesa will continue to operate with its trademarks Apro Inoxidables for stainless steel products, Almesa for carbon steel products and Tubonor for the region of Asturias, in Spain as a reference in the area.
