Alleima: two major orders in oil & gas segment

Alleima has received two major orders in the oil and gas segment, of which one for advanced tubes, umbilicals, and one for corrosion resistant alloy OCTG tubes (Oil Country Tubular Goods). The total value amounts to approximately SEK 450 million (EUR 39.3 million). The umbilical order, valued at approximately SEK 210 million (EUR 18.3 million), will be used in an offshore project in Brazil. Deliveries are scheduled for the second half of 2024 and early 2025.

The OCTG order, valued at approximately SEK 240 million (EUR 21 million), will be used in an offshore project in North Africa. Deliveries are scheduled during mid-2024. Both orders, classified as major orders (i.e. above SEK 200 million), were received in the fourth quarter and will be reported in the Tube division.

“Demand in the energy sector is strong, driven both by growing demand for energy as well as the shift to renewable energy sources. We are well positioned to continue to gain business in this field and these two orders demonstrate the strength of our offering”, says Nigel Haworth, President Business Unit Energy, Tube division.
