Allegheny Ludlum raises stainless prices

Allegheny Ludlum will increase base prices by approximately 5-7% on 200, 300 and
400 series grades of cold-rolled stainless steel sheet and strip products effective with shipments 1 July 2001. This price increase is being implemented to offset increased energy and
manufacturing costs. All cold-rolled stainless steel sheet service centres and O.E.M.
(original equipment manufacturer) contract customers are subject to this price increase. All current raw material surcharges in effect at the time of shipment will apply.
