Alfa Laval has won an order to supply Alfa Laval Packinox heat exchangers to a petrochemical plant in China. The order value is approximately SEK 170M and is booked for the Welded Heat Exchangers unit of the Energy Division. Deliveries are scheduled for 2017 and 2018.
The heat exchangers will be used to recover energy in the production process of mixed xylene, an important ingredient for the manufacturing of industrial chemicals and plastics products.
Compared to alternative solutions the Packinox heat exchangers are compact, energy efficient and perfect for applications in the refinery and petrochemical industries.
