Alfa Laval introduces a new stainless steel actuator designed specifically for the Alfa Laval Unique DV-ST diaphragm valves. More compact, robust and durable than its predecessors, this pneumatic actuator simplifies process control due to ease of integration with the full range of Alfa Laval sensing and valve control units.
The Alfa Laval Unique DV-ST UltraPure Actuator fits the complete range of Alfa Laval Unique DV-ST UltraPure diaphragm valves. Previously there were three actuators from which to choose; now there is only one made entirely of AISI 316L stainless steel.
The Unique DV-ST UltraPure Actuator is designed to operate at working pressures up to 10 bar, depending on the diaphragm material used.
The Unique DV-ST UltraPure Actuator withstands high temperatures required for sterilization (autoclave) and for chemical processes. Moreover, all Alfa Laval valve sensing and control units can easily be integrated with the Alfa Laval Unique DV-ST UltraPure Actuator. Also, Alfa Laval sensing and control units feature tight tolerance bands to ensure maximum process safety and no-touch, set-and-forget sensors with simple set-up. This minimizes human error and promotes safe and efficient production.
