Quanta Services Inc. has announced that its subsidiary, Haines Construction, has been contracted by Enbridge Midcoast Energy to build over 50 miles of gas pipeline in NW Alabama. Enbridge Midcoast Energy is a subsidiary of Alberta-based Enbridge Inc. Quanta will instal a 30-inch natural gas pipeline and all associated metering and delivery facilities as part of the USD 23 million contract. The resulting pipeline will provide gas service to a power generation facility near Decatur, Alabama.
