Akihiko Inoue Elected Chairman of the World Stainless Association

Akihiko Inoue, has been elected as the Chairman of the World Stainless Association (worldstainless) at this year’s annual meeting held in Istanbul on May 23. Mr. Inoue will serve as Chairman until the annual meeting in 2026, a tenure that promises to bring innovative developments and strengthened global collaborations within the stainless steel sector.

The World Stainless Association is a crucial organization within the stainless steel industry. Founded in 1996, worldstainless is an international, non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and promotion of stainless steel. With 48 members, including the world’s leading stainless steel manufacturers and related organizations, worldstainless plays a pivotal role in fostering industry growth and innovation. The organization’s mission is to develop stainless steel’s applications and markets while advocating for the industry’s sustainability and technological advancements.
