The company has appointed a new senior management team and is currently adding a number of key technical professionals to its staff. Since a number of deepwater field development projects for the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, Brazil and other world-wide locations are initiated and managed from Houston, Aker Maritime considers a strong Houston office to be of significant strategic value. Aker Maritime US Inc. focuses on services, technology and products related to deepwater application of the full range of floating production systems. The company’s ambition is to also provide services, technology and products in the areas of subsea developments, marine operations and LNG facilities.
