Air separation plant in Hungary

Linde AG, Wiesbaden, Germany, has received another order from Hungarian chemicals company BorsodChem RT, based in Kazincbarcika, northern Hungary, for the long-term supply of oxygen and nitrogen. Within the scope of this order, Linde will erect an on-site air separation plant at BorsodChem worth around EUR 22 million and due to begin operation in 2005. Linde is also investing EUR 33 million in a second steam reformer for BorsodChem, which will also be completed in 2005. Furthermore, Linde has concluded gas supply contracts with BorsodChem worth around EUR 250 million, which is fixed for a 15-year period.
