The main goal of the project is to provide a layer to collect the data from the processing lines plant floor and deliver them to the customer’s MES, interfacing different types of machines and control systems in a seamless way.

According to customer’s needs, the new solution will lead to the optimization of data flows, improvement of operations visibility and quality tracking. The full scope of supply includes the development of Level 2 functionality for all identified machines; engineering and updating of existing electrical equipment and wiring diagrams; upgrade of the existing automation & control system adding the required hardware to collect the data from legacy control systems that are not network ready; development of PLC functionality for data collection from the field and the interface with Level 2; and commissioning and support both on site and from remote.

The AIC’s solution guarantees and allows to optimize both the production process of the plant. Integration with a new dynamic information system (MES) for different types of Levels 2 will drive effective execution of manufacturing operations.
