Ahead of Formnext 2019, Aerosint introduces a completely redesigned metal powder recoater. This unique in its kind recoater can lay down dual metal powder layers which, by doing so, unlocks dual-metal laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) printing.
The dual-metal powder recoater was designed for integration in the Aconity Midi + L-PBF printer. This printer will be introduced to the market at Formnext 2019.
The Aerosint recoater will be made available to interested customers as an optional add-on to this new machine as of 2020. Multi-material printing has been wishful thinking for a long time. This technology intends to make it possible!
