Acerinox has received the platinum medal from Ecovadis, the highest score awarded by the rating platform for evaluating Corporate Social Responsibility. The score received by the Group places Acerinox among the top 1% of the best-rated companies out of the more than 100,000 businesses from 200 countries assessed globally in the areas of environmental protection, human rights and responsible purchasing. This recognition demonstrates the Group’s progress in sustainability matters, improving from gold level to platinum.
The most noteworthy progress made in the specific area of supply chain includes the recent approval of a Code of Ethics for Providers, which is shared with business partners working with the company, and the definition of a specific system for assessing ESG aspects, paying special attention to risks.
