A-LOK tube fittings

BP, Barnstaple, UK, is standardising on Parker Instrumentation’s A-LOK tube fittings for the construction of the Greater Plutonio FPSO (Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading) vessel that will be used in the Block 18 Angola oil field. The twin-ferrule fittings will be fabricated in 316-grade stainless steel, as well as exotic alloys including 6Mo and Incoloy 625 to combat corrosion. In addition to the specification for tube fittings, Parker is supplying a substantial quantity of manifolds including a 7-way type that is being manufactured specially for this application.
