Talon Metals Corp. (Talon) has commended President Joe Biden and the US Congress for passing bipartisan infrastructure legislation (H.R. 3684, Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act). President Biden signed the bipartisan legislation into law recently. The legislation contains significant funding support for electric vehicle (EV) adoption, EV battery charging infrastructure and over USD 6bn for developing battery materials processing capacity in the U.S., including nickel. In a separate but related development, the Biden Administration has recently moved to add nickel to the U.S. Critical Minerals List as part of a comprehensive review of supply chain security in critical minerals.
