ELVEDI has developed a weather protection roller blind for pallet racking. The roll-up curtain is suitable for racking systems with a height of up to five meters and a compartment width of up to four meters including the pallet. The pallet rack enables safe outdoor storage even of particularly heavy items such as large machine components. ELVEDI offers the only shelving systems with automatic roll-up access to date.
Users of the weather protection roller blind come from the mechanical engineering and food production sectors. However, the system can be adapted to all goods that are stored on pallets. Since ELVEDI’s racking systems are modular, they can be adapted to individual customer requirements. The technology behind the concept: an electric motor ensures fast and safe opening and closing of the splash-proof and air-permeable protective tarpaulin; unwieldy and heavy roller shutter doors or sliding doors are not required. In addition, the shelf with roller curtain has stabilizing guide rails that prevent the curtain from flapping, so that weather protection is maintained even in strong winds.
