Kobe Metal has extended the exclusive agreement with Nantong Special Steel/Zhongxing Energy to include the North American, European, and Middle East markets.
As the only Chinese seamless stainless pipe mill approved by Dow DuPont, Nantong has been producing a top-quality product for many years with a solid track record. The inclusion of A+B+C+D reaching as low as 1 on Nantongs purified billet guarantees that Nantong can produce grades with tighter specifications (including duplex and high nickel pipe) that can pass the very tough surface penetration testing.
Nantongs team has recently developed a new manufacturing process that can successfully produce 30´´OD Sch5s seamless pipe; customers can now take advantage of the seamless benefits in traditional fields that normally used welded stainless pipe.
Nantong has a dominant market share in the Chinese nuclear market, is on the Approved Manufacturers List (AML) of Marathon Oil, BP, LyondellBassel, ConocoPhillips, Air Products, Technip/KTI and its pipes have been used in multiple projects for ExxonMobil, Shell, Chevron and Saudi Aramco.
