SED to build boilerless greenfield sugar refinery

Spray Engineering Devices Limited (SED) has secured a landmark turnkey contract to develop India’s first boilerless greenfield sugar refinery at Kandla, Gujarat.

This 1000-1500 TPD facility is not just a plant; it is a global benchmark in Circular Engineering, designed to decouple industrial growth from environmental depletion.

Targeted for completion by March 2027, this project introduces breakthrough sustainability features that move the needle toward India’s 2070 Net Zero goals: Boilerless design, Zero Water Consumption, Integrated Lime Recalcination, Elite efficiency and a strategic partnership.

In collaboration with Fullon Sugar Private Limited, SED will not only execute the project but also enter a long-term Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract to ensure sustained performance and 99% sugar recovery.

Located strategically near India’s export corridors, this refinery reinforces India’s position as a global hub for green manufacturing technology.
