In January, the Nikopol facility underwent a surveillance audit by the American Petroleum Institute (API), confirming compliance with the standards for manufacturing pipes used in oil and gas production and transportation, as well as compliance of the Quality Management System. This certification enables Interpipe to supply tubular products for the oil, natural gas and related energy industries worldwide.
Interpipe regularly undergoes API recertification. Since COVID restrictions, the entire audit process has mostly moved to an online format. This year the auditor paid special attention to the fact that, despite the challenging conditions, production modernization continues, including the new heat treatment unit installation in Nikopol.
