Sarah Bagnall has been appointed Chair of the British Stainless Steel Association (BSSA).
A Chartered Engineer, Sarah Bagnall specialises in materials failure analysis, particularly within the petrochemical, oil and gas, and power industries. She previously served as Vice-Chair of BSSA and has been a board member since November 2024. In her new role, she will focus on driving innovation and addressing key challenges facing the UK’s stainless-steel sector.
Sarah has been a member of IOM3 since 2011 and currently serves as Director of Consultancy Services at R-TECH Materials, bringing extensive expertise across power generation, petrochemical, and construction sectors.
