Olympic Steel Inc., a major national metals service center, has appointed Larry N. Norred as General Manager for its Buford (fabrication) and Winder (metal processing) facilities in Georgia.
Mr Norred brings more than three decades of leadership experience in the steel industry, successfully guiding organizations through growth, diversification and operational excellence. Most recently, he served as General Manager of KGS Steel, Inc. Prior to KGS, he held senior leadership roles at Service Steel and Pipe, Inc. and Astralloy Steel Products, Inc.
In his new role with Olympic Steel, Mr Norred will be responsible for daily operations, commercial strategy and overall performance of the Buford and Winder facilities.
